Queen of Tears has surged to national drama status, recording a peak viewership rating of 24.9% according to Nielsen Korea.
Now, ‘Queen of Tears’ is captivating netizens and spurring them to vote in the Netizen Awards.
The success of Queen of Tears can be attributed to the powerful chemistry between Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, who walk the ‘path of happiness’, and the compelling presence of Park Sung-hoon, who treads the ‘path of misery’.
The gripping performances of the supporting actors also played a significant role in bringing this work to the top. Characters played by Kim Kap-soo, Lee Mi-sook, Na Young-hee, Jung Jin-young, and Kwak Dong-yeon contributed to creating intriguing and multi-dimensional scenes.
